4D Ultrasound

So we went yesterday for our 4D Ultrasound! She did really good after we shook her up a little bit!! HAHA She has the chubbiest cheeks and lots of hair! So Neisha she will be able to wear those bows soon! Here are a few of the pictures! I didn't think that I could love her more but after seeing her precious face, I fell in love with her all over! I can't imagine what it will be like in two months.

29 wk appointment

So I had my first two week appointment yesterday. Everything looked good! My weight is 141 lbs up 2 lbs from last week for a total of 10 lbs gained. Blood pressure was 104/61 which is up a little from my norm but not out of the norm range. Jordyn's HB was 156 and I measured 29 cm so I gained a 1 cm from last time. Jordyn has been passing all her kick counts at night. She usually passed within 30 min of me eating and she has a two hour window. She is very active! I've been taking my iron supplement and vitamins but I am still tired all the time. I still get out of breath just doing light housework. I hope that as my iron levels increase that will get better. I got all Jordyn's shower gifts laid out. There are pictures below. We go on Monday to have the 4D sonogram done!

Anthony comes home today!!! We are going to get the house more baby friendly while he is home this time. We are going to give Jordyn room in the kitchen and bathroom!!! It kinda feels like we are getting a new roommate, except this one will be here for at least 18 years!!!

My Aunt Nancy brought bags of baby clothes that her daughter in law didn't want and this is what is left after we went through all them. This is sizes 0-9months. We won't NEED any clothes for a while but we may wants some! ;)

The next ones are all the things that we got from the shower @ my family shower!

Diapers - Cloth or Disposables

This has been weighing very heavily on my mind and heart lately. Actually the whole pregnancy! I was going to use cloth to begin with then decided, that with school that I would need to use disposables. Then after looking at prices of diapers, I decided we had to use cloth for money sake. Then I thought I would make them. HA! That is not as easy as it sounds. I have been sewing for a very short time now and only quilts so far. I didn't like the curves of the diaper tabs. But After I made two I decided it was not worth the time spent on making them. I could buy them on ebay new for nearly what I would pay to make them. Then I tried drying the one that I made. That took FOREVER in the dry and still wasn't dry. Then I went to Sam's. Did you know that you could go to Sam’s and get Huggies for $37 for 207 diapers? Well that totally threw a wrench in my price of diapers argument. Yeah we would save more by using cloth but for that price I really can't say that it's worth the effort. I don't know what I'm going to do. I wish someone had filled our trunk up with disposable diapers then I would have to worry about this but oh well. I really thought that I could handle the cleaning, washing, drying and everything else of the cloth diapers. Now I am not so sure. I'll let you know what I decide! I go to the dr tomorrow but I don't expect anything unusual. Next Monday we will have our 4D sonogram! Anthony will be home on Thursday! I am sorting through baby clothes that were donated today and cleaning house.

Last of the 4 Week appointments!

Well I had my last 4 week appointment this past week. I will now be going every 2 weeks!! I will be finished with school for this semester on Tuesday. Things are looking really good! I am so excited about having time to focus on Jordyn! We are going to finish decorating her room. We are going to finish her quilt & Keri's quilt!! We are going to go to baby showers. We are also going to sign up for Birthing Classes! I am so excited to have some time off to focus on her. I feel like this entire pregnancy has flown by and I haven't gotten to really enjoy any of it. I did pass my sugar test at the last appointment but fail the iron test. I really failed it my score was 8.2 and I needed a minmal of 11. I am on ferrous sulfate three times a day. Maybe this will help with me being so tired all the time as well.

Happy Mother's day to all moms! I got the most beautiful roses today from my honey! But the card was even sweeter:
" To the newest mother in my life! The most important mother from now on! and the greatest wife a guy could have! I love you baby and hope you have a wonderful Mother's day! Love-Anthony"
Today is one of those days I wish he didn't work offshore. I miss him a lot on the Holiday's that he is not here. This is just a phase in life and like all phases we will get through it.
